Heartbeat—Serving Wounded Warriors staff

Janice Buckley Janice is Heartbeat’s only full-time staff. She is founder and president of the organization. For nearly 10 years, Janice has been a tireless advocate of our men and women in the military. The journey that led her to Heartbeat began in 2001.

Jenn Whitney, - North End Volunteer Project Manager. Event and Marketing Coordinator. Jenn has been with Heartbeat since 2005. She is a single parent, who works full time in Property Management. Jenn is very devoted to Heartbeat. She is a huge asset to our leadership! She has helped raise funds through many fundraisers and helps with many of the morale programs put on by Heartbeat. With her enthusiasm & dedication she has brought on a lot of new volunteers to join our team! Jenn is responsible for organizing and leading volunteers in our North End (North of Seattle) projects. When Jenn is not working or volunteering she spends her time with her daughter, family and friends. She plays in a weekly bowling league, and loves playing racquetball. She loves watching her daughter participate in her activities such as art, piano and taekwondo. Her daughter is also a volunteer of Heartbeat.
