Heartbeat’s Business Partner Program

What is the Business Partner Program?

Heartbeat’s Business Partner Program consists of businesses and leaders with a heart for wounded warriors and their families. Business partners give to our heroes before they need it as well as the moment they need it — when something unexpected happens in their lives. Our partners’ generosity comes in many forms:

  • Services or goods — monthly or quarterly
  • “On call” help when a sudden need arises
  • Grocery gift certificates
  • Other gift certificates
  • Generous discounts

Some businesses help by supporting Heartbeat’s business needs. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Heartbeat runs 100 percent on donations. This allows us to provide nonstop services to our wounded warriors free. Our partners donate a variety of items and services:

  • Printing
  • Advertising space and air time
  • Repair services for Heartbeat’s vehicle
  • Computer repair and IT services
  • Office equipment
  • Assisting at a holiday event

What are the program’s benefits?

Our business partners tell us the greatest benefit is the huge satisfaction that comes from supporting their heroes. But Heartbeat believes in supporting our partners too. Here are a few business benefits you’ll receive as a member of the program:

  • Tax write-off
  • Nonstop, free advertising on our Web site
  • Occasional radio and newspaper advertising
  • Business partnership that gives you a face in the military community

Please ask your tax adviser about a tax write-off for you or your business.

How does the Business Partner Program work?

It’s easy. First, contact Janice Buckley, Heartbeat president, to join our Business Partner Program. Ask questions, and tell us what you can donate. No forms to complete. No dues. No lengthy conversation necessary, unless you want to — we’re happy to talk with you.

When a need arises for wounded warrior, family, or Heartbeat, we’ll give you a call.

Who are Heartbeat’s generous business partners?

Heartbeat’s business partners have saved the day for many heroes and Heartbeat. They’ve repaired warriors’ cars, donated toys to hero children, and given Heartbeat free advertising. They’ve even donated a van for the many trips from the Heartbeat office, in the City of Snohomish, to Fort Lewis, Washington.

We encourage everyone to become regular customers of our business partners.

Thank you, partners, for your generosity and for showing how much you appreciate our warriors’ sacrifices. Because of you, we can offer healing programs to our heroes.
